Rep Baseball

14 11 2009

Hey everyone, sorry for not blogging all that much over summer but it was a really busy time for me.

The big highlight is that the rep team I’m playing on made it to the provincials championship. and that was such a neat experience for me playing all these other amazing teams form all over B.C. one thing that was really amazing is that compared to the other teams there we were terrible! We got mercied every game and their team that won all their games  in the zones only won one of their games (the moral of this story is don’t join a baseball team on Vancouver island). but all and all this was a great experience going to the provincials and playing all these other great teams.

Dan Ball

28 05 2009
Lately in our class people have been playing a game called Dan Ball powder game, in that game you get to use a whole bunch of different kinds of “powder” to make a powder landscape or a high explosive grenade.
When you’re playing this game you can also play with two people so you can play with your friends. Usually me and Daniel play two player were you start off with vine and use virus on the vine to make it grow up to a small platform and you work together so there is really no winner, but that is only when I get in first but when Daniel gets in first there is a winner. Another fun thing is to make a lot of water and then freeze the water and have two people on each side firing acid at the ice and see how long it takes for you to melt the ice and for you people to die… or you run out of dots.
If you have tryed this game what did you play and did you like this game? If you played with a friend and tyed one of these games did you like it?

I Want To Be A…

27 05 2009

When I grow up the two jobs that I most want to have are to be a Builder or a Major League Baseball Player.

Builder:

The reason I would like to be a builder is because my Dad is a builder. During the off season I could be a builder. Sometimes during the summer my dad lets me work with him for a while cleaning up the site. Sometimes

Baseball player:

I would want to be a baseball player because I have player baseball all my life. Also I am almost switch hitter, A switch hitter is someone who can hit both ways, My favorite part about baseball is pitching and catching because when your back catching your always part of the play, When I’m pitching I like how your always doing something. The one downside to pitching and catching is that it is really easy to injure your arm if you thrwo the ball wrong.

The main Idea for this blog post came from Chelsea’s blog post.

Heroes

30 04 2009

In the bringing us together blog yearsisx wrote a blog post about super heroes. I think that the thing that makes a hero is that they would help others if they were in trouble.A hero is someone that people would look up to or has achieved something great or fail their first time but preserver. Heroes would usually see sick children in hospitals and spend the day with them. A hero would also pay money to charity so that the hospital can work. My heroes are Kevin Youkilis because he is such a good baseball player.

Our earth, respect it

Summer comes and the trees are blooming.

Slow soft starts up motion.

Beautiful blooms start to sway.

roots twist and turn up, what a treat

Leaves rolling so naturaly

Appreciation

23 04 2009

Quick winds blow and the trees sway.

When the sun shines and the wind slows.

Bird’s chirp and trees creek.

Winding twisting, fighting for sun

Trees split to twos and threes.

Old and young stay as one.

Light and dark twist to one.

Bird’s flyover head in twos and ones.

That’s Really Scary

9 04 2009

I started to wake up I saw I giant bug staring at me my legs started to wobble and then I tried to run but my legs wouldn’t  respond, they had me knocked out so I couldn’t move.  And then I realized that it was putting its hands in my mouth. Then wait a minute, bugs don’t have hands or mouth masks or even mouths that the mouth mask would be used for! It took me a second to realize that I was still in the dentists office getting a tooth pulled. I was so relived that I could have hugged my dentist then I realized that I couldn’t move because I was supposed to not move thus the reason why I was knocked out. At the end of the day I had night mares that I was being abducted. And who said I wasn’t abducted.

What is This!

2 04 2009

Has something weird ever happened to you? Well today the first day of April it snowed a couple of inches. When I got up and saw the snow I thought that it was too late in the year for snow. Even if there is snow could it be at least enough snow for a snow day. Then it being the April fool’s Day later in the day it started raining. So during lunch break you would be running in a game if tag, ha ha I’m getting away! Slip, oof, aw man my clothes are soaked! So you spend the rest of the day soaked. Then when you’re plodding around all day in slush its no fun at all, it actually makes you more depressed. Seriously no one was happy, no one was walking around, “yay slush the best kind of annoying muck on the ground, O slush please don’t go away I think you’re so cool” no one was like that…April fools! Wow you’re so gullible that was so obvious that it was all sunny and nice out. Well no it was a terrible and snowy and slushy day. To bad that wasn’t a April fools prank.

Remix: Baseball city

26 03 2009

During September me and my dad went to Toronto Ontario to watch my two favorite teams play each other. Unfortunately the Red Sox third basemen was injured so I didn’t get to see my favorite player on first.

The day before the we went and saw some different places  around Toronto, The first place we went to was the CN Tower the day before the game. When we got there my dad said that were not going to the top. When We got to the top my dad said that he wasn’t going to go on the glass floor. During the day if the dome of Roger’s center was open you could see the whole field. After the the CN tower me and dad went to see if we could find any blue jays jerseys. the first shop we saw had the Blue Jays jerseys for $100. When we saw that we decided to look around a little more. So we went to the Blue Jays store at Roger’s Center to see if the jerseys were cheaper there, they were a lot more expensive. So we decided to go to the store a couple hours before the game and buy the shirts.

The next day finally came and I was as exited as ever! So we can get the jerseys before the game me and my dad left for the store at around 10:00 am. After we got the jerseys we stayed at the hotel and waited for until we should leave for the game. the first game was a really close game because there was two outs and a runner on third. but unfortunately the batter was swinging for a home run.

The next day me and my dad basically spent the whole day waiting for the second game to start and were hoping that the jays won, that’s a good thing watching two of your favorite teams play, either way one of your favorite teams wins. That day the game wasn’t that exiting because the jays won by 3 runs and they won in the third inning.

The reason I remixed my post was because the original was really short and it didn’t describe the trip to Toronto very well. This is my original post and compare it to the first one
