Rep Baseball

14 11 2009

Hey everyone, sorry for not blogging all that much over summer but it was a really busy time for me.

The big highlight is that the rep team I’m playing on made it to the provincials championship. and that was such a neat experience for me playing all these other amazing teams form all over B.C. one thing that was really amazing is that compared to the other teams there we were terrible! We got mercied every game and their team that won all their games  in the zones only won one of their games (the moral of this story is don’t join a baseball team on Vancouver island). but all and all this was a great experience going to the provincials and playing all these other great teams.

The new puppie!.. Again?

4 06 2009

On May the 23 my dad sister and I when to a breeder to get our new puppy. This puppy is so much more laid back than our first dog ,Ace. (we had to get him put down because he was a really crazy dog and he attacked my dad’s arm) Our new dog’s name is Koda, The reason we chose Koda is because one of my mom’s friends e-mailed us a bunch of dog names and we really like Koda. there really isn’t much to koda as in activeness. At this point he’s happy if there is a person near him and he’s on something comfortable he’s good. In fact its acctually nice that he’s always sleeping. When he’s at his most active hes chewing on his kong for a bit the he’s ready for another nap. I sure hope that Koda will last longer than Ace.

Me and my sister have been asking people if they think that koda should be spelt with a k or a c? lave a comment and tell me what you think.

Are You High or Low?

13 02 2009

For one class each week Ms. Prager talked to us about the Alert program.

After waking up in the morning do you felt like you can’t stand up because your so tired, after you eat  do you feel like you can’t sit down because your really hyper. If you said yes to any of these scenarios then this blog post is for you (yes you ,in the chair) these are 8 easy steps to getting from high to just right and low to just right.

  1. High to just right and low to just right, Try putting your arm straight in front of you and under your desk pulling until you feel just right.
  2. High and low to just right,if you have a small toy that doesn’t distract you and play with it under your desk.
  3. If you are high, you can do a chair push up by putting your arms and push down with your arms slowly and quietly.
  4. From low to just right. If your allowed to eat during class have something that is sour or crunchy like the stick men in my movie.
  5. from high to just right. you can eat something that is sweet or sugary (weird I know).
  6. if you are low, you can take a scented cotton ball and sniff it.Also there are ones that can calm you down.
  7. if you are high or low you can pull up your legs to your chest and pull hard to your chest. The pulling on your chest would be heavy work and the pressure would be deep pressure.
  8. Also you can try experimenting with different way of waking up and calming down with lighting and sounds

My Special Place

3 02 2009

On Bringing us Together there is a post about your special place. My special place is at my second cousin”s house me and my cousin have built a small little tunnel like area. At first when me and my cousin found the small pile of “junk” or to me and my cousin a cave that we can play in.

It was around midnight and me and my cousin actually couldn’t find anything to do so we started to look for something to do we found a “air bubble in the junk” so we started to move the boxes and clutter in such a way that it made it more fort like.

The next time I was over to our second cousin’s  house me and my cousin started to dig in more and we actually managed to make it wider and from a one person safely hidden and one at the door to a two people hidden and in making it wider we pulled in some pillows and even an bean bag then while we were “scavenging” we found the perfect door also the perfect pillow, it became our door. We had it all to ourselves till my sister found us in the junk and wouldn’t leave us alone till we let her in. It turned out that my sister doesn’t take up much room and it’s much faster then we thought.

By the next time we were over another cousin came and when he helped he got us past a huge “road block” and it allowed us to get around the old tunnel . It is so big it wraps around the old tunnel.

Now for me and my cousins and sister we just hang out. we even fell asleep on the pillows. now that its clomplete we spendmost of our time in our not so secret getaway.

One Wish

27 01 2009

Today I read a post at Bringing us Together about if you could make a wish what would it be. Of course it can’t be I wish for more wishes or for yourself. It must be a wish for someone else and explain why.

My wish is for our MLA Stan Hagen. It is that that he didn’t have a heart attack and die because he was a very nice man. Look at the link to find out about Stan Hagen

My New Dog

21 01 2009

On Friday January the 2 me and my family drove down to Duke Point to get a dog! Our puppy dog’s name is Ace. When we got him he was one day to being 7 weeks old and very calm. Of course very small dog equals lots of stink and when we got him home we figured out that small dogs can go a long time without a rest. If this was me being a tad over dramatic then it would sound like this:

January 2 2009

Dear Family

So far we have had only a few casualties but we are fighting hard to keep the Ace menace back from the troops. We are running a short on supplies because the enemy is absolutely resisting negotiation and surrender is not an option. Wait I’ve got to go the enemy is falling asleep.

My dog is so cute that we only just love him enough not to go crazy and still love him. And my family has found out that housebreaking dog is hard but a dog breaking the house is so easy. So far we are loving our dog and he is actually starting starting to listen, sleep at night, not pee in the house, not chewing stuff and a whole bunch more stuff he didn’t do before.

If you really want good help about animals visit Brittany’s blog

These are pictures of my dog Ace when we first got him

Worst costume ever

31 10 2008

What is the most embarrassing costume you’ve ever worn? I can remember mine… that was back when I had no choice on what to wear (obviously). It was….pause…….A Caterpillar! A giant green, caterpillar! I was more embarrassed than a kid getting hugged by their mom in school.

Also we have a parade at school were everyone shows their costume by walking around our gym. It’s easy to see the more embarrassing costumes better for some reason (I say it’s a conspiracy that chips get planted in our heads when we’re babies). Everyone say everyone and especially me. Luckily I wasn’t the winner of the dumbest costume award, I got second after my sister who had a sheep costume! Let’s go sheering!
