Happy Birthday, Mrs. Waters’ blog.  On Mrs.Waters’ blog she wrote a post about how Edublogs got started and to celebrate Edublogs’ 1st birthday she is giving away 12 one year sponsorships.  I’m writing a post on how to expand your blog’s audience.

1. Comment on lots of other post.  Commenting will most likely get people that read that post to come to your blog.

2. Make interesting blog posts. The reason you want to make good blog posts is because if your blog posts are interesting then people will tell their friends to read your blog.

3. Link to other people’s blogs.  If you link to other blogs then they will get a ping back and they most likely will visit your blog.

4. Tag your posts.  If you tag your posts then if someone search for that then they would find your blog post.  For example, I tagged my post birthday and if someone searched birthday then they would find my blog post.

5.Put images into your posts.  If you just leave you posts to a chunk of text then no one will read it.
