One Wish

27 01 2009

Today I read a post at Bringing us Together about if you could make a wish what would it be. Of course it can’t be I wish for more wishes or for yourself. It must be a wish for someone else and explain why.

My wish is for our MLA Stan Hagen. It is that that he didn’t have a heart attack and die because he was a very nice man. Look at the link to find out about Stan Hagen

My New Dog

21 01 2009

On Friday January the 2 me and my family drove down to Duke Point to get a dog! Our puppy dog’s name is Ace. When we got him he was one day to being 7 weeks old and very calm. Of course very small dog equals lots of stink and when we got him home we figured out that small dogs can go a long time without a rest. If this was me being a tad over dramatic then it would sound like this:

Dear Family

So far we have had only a few casualties but we are fighting hard to keep the Ace menace back from the troops. We are running a short on supplies because the enemy is absolutely resisting negotiation and surrender is not an option. Wait I’ve got to go the enemy is falling asleep.

My dog is so cute that we only just love him enough not to go crazy and still love him. And my family has found out that housebreaking dog is hard but a dog breaking the house is so easy. So far we are loving our dog and he is actually starting starting to listen, sleep at night, not pee in the house, not chewing stuff and a whole bunch more stuff he didn’t do before.

Barack Obama’s Inauguration

21 01 2009

Have you seen the Inauguration of president Barack Obama. This morning when I walked in  the class room I saw the whole class staring at the smart board and I thought I was late. When I walked in I saw the screen playing in a small window with a  a person making a speech and right away I knew that we were watching an Inauguration. The first thing I asked was.

“Did I miss Obama’s Oath because I don’t want to miss history” When Obama was making his speech one thing that really stuck was the line
“greatness is not gained but is earned”

I think that Obama beingpresident is great because it shows you that no matter what colour that you are we’re all the same and have equal chances.

Now if I live to see the first Female president in the US I would  have seen two firsts for the states.

If you saw the Inauguration then comment on this post and what you really liked

How to Make our World Better

6 01 2009

Happy New Year

A New Year’s Resolution is a good way to make a promise to help make your life or community better. For most people New Year’s is just staying up to midnight and saying “3 2 1 Happy New Year!” then it’s done. Most people don’t think about how to change their life by making New Years Resolutions. When you’re making a Resolution you shouldn’t try to stop war or make world peace. As a resolution you should try to only change your community, to help your friend, family or yourself.

If you can’t think of a resolution you can think of a thing you want to change in your community and that you can achieve or you could do something to help your daily routine that isn’t really constant.

My New Year’s Resolution for my blog is to comment on one blog each day to expand my audience.

What is your New Years Resolution?
